Default Remove midgets' ability to create threads outside the Intro section

I'm noticing that more and more midgets are registering here and not making an introduction, just asking whatever they want at our Help section. So i suggest that we remove this hability from them.
I'm not against newcommers asking questions or replying to threads outside the intro section, but many of them are using T-I like a helpdesk and aren't planning to become members of the community.

They're already members of the community once they've registered to the forum. It's their problem if they're not creating an introduction to fully utilize the forum and earn access to the rest of the sections. I understand what you're referring to, but the majority of the issues are not the ability to create threads, but the ability to even post outside of the Introduction section. I haven't run into many reports for deleting a starting member's thread, but I've run into numerous reports to delete their spam posts.

--- we can't deny them that right.... i mean even if they plan to become members here or not, we have nothing to loose by helping them. I mean this is the strength of your community... helping others. They already have the right to post in some parts of the forums, and yeah i admit that many spam and ask for invites in the Tracker Review section, but we're taking care of that by deleting those posts. If they seek help here, why ignore or refuse them?!

It isn't a spam matter, but people registering here only to ask how they can do X or Y and never logging in anymore.
They got the ability to post outside the intros to get to interact with the members and get known before they get accepted, right? This hit and running at our forum kinda go against the initial idea.

--- i think that if they won't be able to create new threads, they will still find a way to post and ask their questions... like if they have problems loging in, idk... let's say TL, they will post in the TL's review; if they have issues with their computers they will post in the Tutorials or entertainment sections. At least this way, we can limit their questions to the Help section... and not randomly splattered all around the forums.

This isn't going to happen, we opened the forum to midgets to encourage new memberships.

    Closed.
