Default Image re-sizing inside thread + max image size width

when you post an image in the forum it re-sizes it like normal but when you click on the bar to see it full size it shows the image by itself so you have to click back and reload the page to see the thread again.

i think it would be better if it just resized inside the thread instead of taking you to another page or if it opened the image in a new window.

also the maximum width it takes before resizing the image is low so when you post a sig for example it resizes it but the actual width may only be a couple of pixels more and when this is combined with the above issue it can be very frustrating.

I don't know, this kind of situation/problem doesn't bother me much... it's just a few more clicks to get what U want but, on the other hand, I'm not an expert, I presume it would take some coding to do what you're suggesting... so, I'm not either for or against this suggestion... I'm rather indifferent... let's see what other think about it...

on second thoughts resizing in the thread might not work but at least opening it in a new window/tab would be easy?

im usually making sigs so resizing them smaller is annoying since they dont get resized when they are in your signature so u dont see what they would actually look like.

For chrome I simply right click > open image in new tab.
But yeah, middle click doesn't work, but I've gotten used to it.

Also, resizing inside the thread might not be a good idea because of different resolutions; my 1600x900 screenshots might be a bit too large for some people's monitors
