Thread: IRC Giveway

Hello T-I Members


Me and DX both were talking about IRC giveway on IRC , so we decided to post here and let see what staff and other members think .


Well i am thinking to give out invites on IRC and few other members also think that it is a good idea , all we have to do just make a new thread on forum name [ IRC Giveway ] and we write down the name of people who are going to give invites on IRC , we also write the name of trackers in front of members name which they were giving out on irc , and lets come people on irc and then we can invite those members who will active on irc . We can make new IRC channel also where we can give our invites to members . and ask for ratio proof and some other info like profile links etc..

It's just a Idea , but let see what other members Think

--- i have to disagree with this one... giving away invites in the IRC channel ( even if it's a proper one ) it's madness... how will you deal with iGiver, for start... he'll have to open a thread in the Request section, and then you quickly fill it? This is just one example...

--- being a Forum, you have all the means necessary here to open threads, keep track of them, of your possible invitees, their ratio proofs and stuff like that... why complicate all of these by going with this over the IRC?

--- i'm not that into IRC security and stuff, but i'm pretty sure that you can be easily spotted there by certain tracker staff members ( if present ).

I Agree with Morph .. but Morph we are not here to get iGivers .. we are here to share invites so iGiver shouldn't really matter ... we can always keep tracker of them by making a list in the thread Which Lord3King has said ..

that's just a thought basically in this way we will be knowing more about our invitees .. if like its you or McLovin to invite you guys are active on IRC and i can give you my invites without even thinking a bit as i trust you guys .. i know you better from the IRC ...

Well Basically my idea was that we all IRC Perks (Active Members on IRC) Make a Massive Invite Giveaway on T-I For Invites/Bonuses which we all GA here on the site .. like there have been VIP/Exalted Giveaways in the Past ..

Yo Morph that what we trying to do on IRC , with this we can get more activity on irc as well we know more about people whom we send invites .

we can make this for trial and let see it is work or not .

--- so you're trying to say that you want a Massive IRC Active Members Giveaway thread... in which, by your standards i would receive an invite, just by applying for it, because we've talked on the IRC. But what about the other IRC members that are not that active, or you haven't talk to them so much... you see, this seems like an Active IRC members giveaway for Active IRC members...
