    Default Back Button in Intros

I have a small suggestion, I do not know if this has come up in the past I look and could not find anything relating to this topic but if it has sorry. My suggestion is in the intros can a link be included for you to return to the forum with out having to hit the browser button back multiple times.

For example say I get an intro I have to quote the post, respond to the post, subscribe to the post and by the time I have done all the above I am already 4 pages in so I have to hit my browser's back button multiple times to get back to the forum to continue on to the next intro in line, as if I hit the home button I start all over again and not in succession of my last intro.
Trust me it gets tiring after a while after you have done a few intros and it is time consuming if it could be done I am sure it would be highly appreciated not only by me

The simplest solution for this would be to open the intro you're currently working on in another tab; thus, allowing you to stay on the current page of whatever section you're in. Not much else I could really add to that unless I've completely read your suggestion incorrectly.

Also, this is what I do as well, open in several tabs. Today I was working on one. I'm new so I wanted it to be right and I took my time. After proofing and previewing over and over again I finally posted to find Shadowbuild already replied to it. Maybe I overlooked it but at the bottom you can tell if another user is currently viewing. Maybe there's a way the intro can be temporarily locked if another member/mod is currently working it?

I don't think it's necessary to have such a mod to lock a viewed thread. Just as you mentioned, the first thing I did when I used to check out intros is to look at the active users viewing that particular introduction. If you do see an intro mod currently viewing the intro, it's safe to assume he's committed to it and will eventually respond. Likewise, intro mods should also hold back if they think the active user may respond to the thread.

Hmm, maybe I didn't get your question, but what I always do to go back to the intro section after I'm done with an intro, is hit the link in the top. No need to keep another page open. I'll post an image here, so you can see what I mean. It works really fine for me. The link takes you right back to the intro section.

Edit: here's the image so you can see for yourself

Just hit the word "introductions" (circled), and you're back in the intro section. You can work really fast that way.
