Thread: What.cd & Btn no invites rule

I thought it might be worth pointing out that the link to the What.cd no invites rule no longer works. Considering this is an important rule, it is probably worth clarifying in the giveaway rules for newcomers like me.

I tried to help with SprayOfStars on the irc. I too, couldnt be able to find that link for what.cd rule. In it stated that What.Cd is no longer a valid GA. I hope we can get it fixed or a new rule in place. Im thinking the rule got lost in the abyss, when forum changes. Thanks!

EDIT : Fractal found it... Its not the one I seen, it was a whole thread to itself explaining.... but this works for now!

Request Section Rules

That's a good link. Though might I suggest that it would be good to clarify that this rule doesn't just apply to the requests section, but to the whole of TI.

But still it is a hood idea to post it at the GAs rules here:

Also i can't find anything regarding BtN, but it is a forbidden GA too.

WhatCD is not allowed to be given away on this forum. Do not request it or the consequences will be harsh!

Yeah, I cant find the BTN one either. But this is because JustJenna is the official recruiter for BTN. No one else is allowed to give invites to this tracker. This to, maybe should be in the rules..

I agree about the wording, but the location of the rule does make it hard to find for people who are interested in posting giveaways as opposed to requests. To make it easier for those that are new to the forum, it might be worth adding it to the GA rules too.

Edit: We are aware that scattered rules are not a good thing and are working to put all of our rules in one place. However, the simplification of rules project is a huge and ongoing effort. It will take some time. Please be patient while this is worked on.

The rule regarding WhatCD and BTN has been added to the invite section. Thank you for pointing this oversight out.
