Thread: Regarding Porn/adult trackers' invite

Actually when i was working in the intro section few weeks back,i came to know that the lot of people applying for membership is in the age group of 14-20.Now there are many giveways in here which includes pure porn tracker invites also .Ofcourse some of those trackers have "porn" in their name itself (and can be easily identified)but not all of them.Now considering the amount of collectors and newbies here,there must be a way for these guys to know whether the tracker has porn or not.Cos u dont want to invite a 15yr old to cheggits or other porn trackers.

So what i am suggesting is that it should be made mandatory to mention the word "porn" next to the tracker's name and should be given to only those who are above 21 yrs.



Because i have seen some guys who simply apply for all trackers whether or not they know anything about the tracker!!Its mainly for these people.It might look silly but its really useful..

I cant believe we missed this! This is so totally need to take in effect. Hmm I really dont keep track of a persons age when he applies to trackers. Lol. But I do not want to give a young kid under 18 access to a porn tracker if it is illegal. Lol. I mean they can just google, but yea. Its more for integrity sakes. I totally agree with your suggestion.

I can't believe it too. But how about countries with different minority age ranges (did I say it right?) ? In our country, below 18 are considered minorities.

If you're going to cry about there being porn on a tracker, let alone the internet, I'm going to tell you to grow a pair and select the "Hide porn" option on the tracker's profile page or control panel.

Only giving it to +21 is just as dumb as filtering out the trackers with porn, as not only does the majority of trackers contain porn, but the majority of TI is below 21 and would rather fake their age than follow these idiotic rules.

I would perfectly understand it if it was trackers dedicated to porn, such as pornbay, but this is just, incredible stupid.

Whilst you make a valid point about age and porn, Tools does make some valid points. Not everyone puts their age in their introduction, the other problem I can forsee is that if you made everyine that was dong a porn tracker GA request the age of the applicants, people would just lie about it anyway.

Its a nice idea, but to be honest I dont think tagging the invite with the word porn is going to deter or make a lot of difference.

yeah not everyone puts their age but my point is that it ll stop some people from getting misleaded,right??ok we can remove the "age" thing but why not keep "porn" tag??it ll make some difference, i can assure you and thanks for replying!!
