In this world the views of porn is really different from country to country. Some countries are more conservative some are more liberal. I mean we have always gone with the rule that the inviter is the one that puts the rules on their giveaway, now the age limit to different things is different in every country so who really are we to impose a age limit on it. The best an inviter can really do is say hey this is a porn site so apply at your own discretion. Because come on in reality have you seen our IRC? You guys are worried about what trackers minors may be applying to but if you come into the IRC room it is often the minors that are having explicit conversations and I wont get into details. No one forces people to join porn trackers and may I remind you there are trackers out there with a pretty good collection of porn even though they are known for other things hint hint GFT. Now if we place a restriction on porn trackers then we would really have to restrict on those trackers that contain porn as well. Where do you think some of these trackers get their porn from well from other trackers. Members download from one place and upload to another.
And in the case of veritas I do understand what he means. Mention its a porn tracker. If you have a restriction on porn then stay out.
Now even if we would implement this we would have to add the question to the intro section how old are you and those under the age (whatever that is) would be locked out of porn giveaways. Now remember this is the internet 13 year olds now a days are 21 and 60 year olds are 15. So you never know who is telling the truth. If trackers dont really monitor this really should we? Is it worth the trouble? Not really. at least not to me.
