Sort by Date of First Post/Thread Started

In the invite giveaways forums it is often very difficult to find the new threads where people are giving away invites or have competitions for them because the only way at the moment is to sort by date of last post. Many times the "last posted" is a thread that ended months ago but ppl are still begging for invites on them.

I think that it would be a great idea if you could sort threads by date of "First Post" or date "Thread Started".

This would make it very easy to find the most recent giveaways/ and or competitions.

I dont believe these two options are mutually exclusive it would be beneficial to be able to sort by both!

Let me know what you guys think of this idea!

buddy if this happened bumping of thread would be use less..and in other hand if we not bump our thread at regular interval only new threads invite would givenout...

I disagree that bumping would be useless, because people can have the option to sort either way they want, and often times it may be useful to browse both ways, to find what you want!

Can't really see the point tbh, ok it'd be fun to see the very first posts ever made on ti but apart from that...

Well I think we already have that option m8..in any forum at the bottom you can see a drop down menu with this "sort by" option :P :P

Forbidden is right: You can change the default sort order to thread start date (among other options) using the drop down menus located at the bottom of each forum page.

Rejected as moot.
