Thread: Donation Suggestion

I have Noticed That The Minimum amount you can Donate for a VIP Membership is 30 USD for 1 Year



My Suggestion is Can we all Make Smaller Increments in this like.
15USD for 6 Months, Etc..

What do you People Think ?
Because 30$ is a Big Amount we should have at-least have a Half Yearly Subscription Available..

Hmmm i gotta agree with this as i dont like to donate as much at once, but if they dont change it then ill donate here soon :)

I donate on many trackers that i belong.
But i have to agree with A J..
$30 in one time it´s not for everyone...

Maybe if a change occur i will think on doing it here too

you are more than welcome to donate as much as you like to the site at whatever increment you want but you just wont get VIP status. I know people want to be able to join the VIP section and make is alot easier but how many places do you know that offer you VIP for a whole year? Any other place that you donate less amount of money you get VIP for alot less time. Plus TI has had the 30 dollars for VIP for as long as I can remember and it has worked quite well. VIP is a exclusive place where certain invites are offered to first. I honestly think that this isint broken so why does it need to be fixed. Many people have donated the whole 30 for VIP. Plus if you think it is too much at once then just become a little more active in the forums and show your presence and you can try and win VIP. There have been many opportunities in the past for people to become VIP.

For example contests were held, raffles where just 2 dollars could have won you VIP. There has also been numerous times where I have seen generous members of the site use there own money 30 dollars to be exact to purchase VIP for another deserving member, or create a contest with the VIP they purchase. So you see there are many ways to gain VIP access. The 30 dollar donation has been in place for quite some time and has worked very well.

I agree with hummingbird, she makes alot of sence their you can get VIP alot of ways.
alot of users have had free VIP for many reason as stated.
For me before i got VIP i donnated 10 USD and week after the full 30USD
the titel is a bonus i just wanted to give to this brilliant site.

guys it may seem alot, but think about the websites cost, the money makes the site better & inprove,

lets show we are thankfull.

Thinking on this way..ok..i totally agree with both of you....

It´s up for any user donate any amount to help improvements on the site and so on...

BUT.... the VIPs and all exclusivities of being one... costs $30
It´s fair.

The only logic for me ( it´s my toughts of course !) is "buying" the VIP...donation is for those who are already VIP !

Someday , if i feel that i need the VIP , i will donate/buy it !

OK coming to the topic. $30 donation is not welcome for everyone since T-I is from people from all over the world. I like half-year recurring since $15 is sure thing. T-I is from people all over the world so converting their money to dollars is a sure bet. I instinct there will be more donations if they have

Monthly ~ $3 VIP
Quarterly ~ $9 VIP
Half-yearly ~ $15 VIP
Annual ~ $ 30 VIP

People can easily donate $3 without any prior-decision but will think for $30.

Hummingbird basically said it all the fact is that she is correct you can be a donator and contribute as much as you want, but if you want the status of VIP than you would have to contribute the $30.00 per Year, I am sure we would all love to be able to afford it and maybe what you bringing up is something to consider but as it stands it is what it is

So lets do some math
$30 for a years worth of VIP = $2.50 a month
or
0.57 cents a week?

Surely that isn't expensive.
Many of you donate to your trackers right, and how often do they earn enough to cover their monthly server costs? Pretty much every month, in fact most get more than enough to cover the costs... couple that with how much you donate to your trackers each month? More than $2.50 I bet. So wouldn't it be more beneficial to skip a tracker donation for a month and support a site that can get you into trackers you only dream of?
