    Default watermark ratio pics

It seems that some/many people are copying other's ratio proofs and posting them as their own. Do you think it would be a bad idea to require all ratio proofs to be watermarked? Just looking to brainstorm here and make it harder for the cheaters.

It wouldn't be a bad idea, but you might have to make the ratio proofs in layers, which who ever wanted to steal it, could take watermark off.
Feel free to contact me for help with the forums, the Ajar.ws tracker or the irc(I will ignore pms asking for the password.) Pm's asking for invites will be ignored unless instructed by me in one of my giveaways, and will result in either a warning or infraction. I cannot do name changes, so don't ask me.

water marking it is a good idea , @ sic just flatten the layers and save as jpg and they couldnt be removed without some insanely good clone stamp skills

Not if you save it with integrated layers. (or whatever it's called)

Yeah it might be a good idea, but I'm guessing most people have no idea how to do this or don't have the applications needed to do this.. lol

i too think its a good idea but the problem is. what if someone takes another pic. not from a member of the forum but from another place and watermarks it with his name? are we going to believe that thats his ratio ? i can google for pictures with ratios and watermark them as mine and attach here.

For me the best thing is to have someone check the account when the giveaway or the trade is decided.

Yeah, that will be a problem for those un-watermarked ratio proofs. However, this can be used in conjuction with like entering username on the address bar etc.

It all comes down with what types of ratio proofs, the inviters are looking for.

interesting concept. We'll see about intergrating watermarking to our attachments.

It will prob be "torrent-invites *username* " in see through gray all over any pic that you upload as an attachment.
