    Default T-I as seedbox provider?

I think it would be a great idea, and quite lucrative, if T-I provides seedbox access for its users, similar to what savvyseed does at ***.
Applicants would have to be members here. T-I is a very active forum and lots of people who are looking to get access to cheap seedbox slots.
There are many talented and knowledgable members (like MikeD) who may be up for the job.

Torrent-Invites won't do this. We'd need to find a great datacenter, take death threads(maybe), buy dedi servers + bandwidth, etc. You're better going off with the great seedbox provider xirvik. Their widely known, and are great for everything.

I have compared similar slots between xirvik and savvy, i have found that a 125gb at xirvik is around 29.5, whereas savvy is $22, both unlimited.
    thats around 30% cheaper.
Even if T-I charged $29, i would jump on board, as a way of supporting the site.

Yeah and I would like to keep this board as legal as possible.

That way it is a haven where p2p users can meet even if trackers are taken down.

We would be horrible at it anyway. Over at that other forum... Sure they are cheaper but it is run by a community and in the end do you want that really? do you? Providing servers reliably and constantly updating scripts, clients etc is best kept to commercial companies.

Take windows or mac osx versus linux as an example.

We can but monthly rent$ will be high.Since to transfer the Files you need a good
server like Intel Dual Core 2Gb RAM. Cheaters? Security updates and scripts must be running round-the-clock to stop hackers.

Planning a seedbox is really pricey$$

Sorry for the of topic but i must say something about your statement.
You are right that they are both unlimited and you get 125gb of space on each, but there is still a big difference why Xirvik should be way better. The Xirvik 125gb plan is shared with 3 people, meanwhile the savvy plan is shared between 10 people!! And i think that beacuse of this you are able to achieve much better speeds with Xirvik plan. And dont forget the FSF deal where you can get the 150gb plan for $24,9. ;)

Anyway the idea you come on about the T-I beeing a seedbox provider is great imho. I think if this would become reality many seedbox providers would remain without customers.

maybe it's not so bad idea that T-I becomes a seedbox provider besides other functions it already has... but, on the other hand, there's no need for T-I to become a seedbox provider because of few things :

    1. seedbox market is already (over)crowded, the competition is hard and it will get even harder... so why even risk ?
    2. T-I is a synonim for the community, a place where people can share their opinions, help each other in every possible way and, in the end, hang out... I think that if T-I would go for the money-making, as a seedbox provider, it could be changed, in a bad way...

so I '' vote '' that T-I stays as it is now...

    just my opinion...
