Thread: RichTextEditor (RTE), Default Settings & Conquest suggestions

Hiya, several different suggestion in the same thread:

RTE~
1: Why is nested quoting not allowed in threads? Ie if I write something, somebody quotes me to respond and I quote their response, the original quotes aren't included. Garh.

At least quoting a quote should be enabled. Even two deep is ok, generally posters are sensible enough not to keep quoting the quotes indefinitely.

It works in PMs, why disable it in the forums?

2: Smileys: T-I v2 Smileys
Everybody in this thread agreed that new smileys would go well with TIv2 - so now I'm wondering if that's on anybody's todo-list or maybe got missed?

Default Settings~
3: There's a few Default Settings (User CP > Edit Options) when you sign up to T-I that I'd personally set differently. Some discussion could determine if everybody agrees on this or whether everybody wants different settings...
3.1 - Default Thread Subscription Mode: No email notification - That way you automatically subscribe to threads and see them in your User CP. Probably the most useful setting there is, I'd set this as the default.
3.2 - Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up: Disabled - Seriously annoying if you ask me, but I guess there'll be those who think otherwise. So really the default should be determined by numbers.
3.3 - Start of the week: Monday - Who actually uses Sunday for this? o.O

4: Grant a setting "Disable PMs from Conquest". Something like this has already been suggested here: Pm's regarding Conquest
