Default adding little spice to intro. checking

Well I was thinking of an idea to filter out more people...Well when I joined Ixius called me to IRC and asked me to give profile link to some sites and then for verification he told me to change the info of one of these account..in this way he conformed that I am having those account and he repped me in...

But when I was tring to do so..as it was a new user I told him to come to help IRC..I had some issues there so from that time I stopped taking any more intro work...

    So here is the suggestion...
1.if we can have a seprate IRC chennal for intro stuff....so that we can ask some 2-3 questions if we are unsure.

    Advantage of this method:
1.We will have a better userbase & we can be confident about newbie's too...
2.All newbie's will have a friend when they join as IRC is always helping people in making friends
3.Newbie will get exposure of the IRC adn I am really hoping that it will boost our IRC traffic..

Well now lets hear what all others have to say..he he

this is my 3rd sugg. All of them were a big hit so hoping more and a better response for this one..LoL j/k

    ha ha actually 4th ..lol

some people like you, know IRC pretty well, but others, like me, have to search the tutorials and even IRC software to begin with. i dont think irc´ing is that popular but when noobs have it (know, how to use it), then it´s a thought to consider.

if i get it right, i think you have MIBBIT (web based irc client) as your default irc client. if you do, you are screwed. lose it and get something better, like mIRC or similar.
it took me over 2 mins of "connecting" until i gave up. i think it´s because you can´t enter the password REDZONE....

I will support Forbidden for this but many time both the newbie and Interviewer is not online Because of diffrent GMT time and this effect on New new irc so If this thing happens New Irc channel Become Worthless At the Other Hand If Channel etablished It have Lots of Traffic Because New User's are Curious to All thing's Which are Realted to this Awesome site And beacase of this They will point theier views on various topics like as proper ratio proof editing They can expres their own view on traded And also we can express owr GOlDEN RUlE on tradeing That is "Say NO to TRADING -Because Trading will Ruin the Torrenting World "

So I think New IRc Intro Channel Esatablishment is BEST option for interview's.....

Making people introduce themselves in a more interactive way could be nice, however isn't it rather 'hardcore' ? Obviously not everyone likes mirc, let alone that it would greatly increase the time needed for being accepted/rejected. Also, lets not forget the potential ohnoesigotrejected drama.

Also, if the goal is to make the introduction more personal and straightforward, there are other programs that are better that irc. (looks at Skype).

PS : Don't really disagree, just playing devil's advocate :P
