In my humble opinion, this suggestion is getting a bit overly complicated. The reason that screenshots are posted as images in the giveaways is because that is the norm in the introductions. If a person prefers links instead of images, he/she should simply make that one of the rules for his/her giveaway.

In your giveaway, you are well within your rights as an inviter to set this as a rule. Additionally, anyone can ask for profile links to be PM'd to them. You may find that people do not want to share this information, but you may certainly ask for it.

I like the idea of using hyperlinks in giveaway so I made it a rule in this one to see how it works.

But I like seeing the little thumbnails :( I think it would work fine as a personal rule but making it mandatory doesn't really make sense. I mean yea the links save bandwidth and time but if you're on a torrent community forum, how bad can your internet be... and it's only a few mb, shouldn't hurt caps too much. I think seeing mini versions of torrent sites is cool though -.-

Yes I agree, besides looking more clean and saving bandwidth but to become mandatory it just doesn't have the same look and feel to it. This idea would however save my blackberry a hell of trouble! Try going through all the ratio proofs all at once on your blackberry, not fun! =P

When i got here i thought i knew alot but i have learned so much more since being here. So do we want to complicate the system to make it tougher?

Personally I like the idea - I get annoyed when people post huge images and it takes ages to load as well as screwing with the browser. I will ask the rest of the staff to consider implementing this rule in the g/a section.
