there r many people in the intro section who dont read the rules properly and say that trading is great, good etc etc......
i m sure many have noticed that.....
they change their answers only after some1 warns them that trading is not allowed here in t-i...
so my suggestion is even if after reading the rules they post an intro where they support trading they should be immediately negative repped......
bcoz most people change der answers just to get into t-i.....
rather then becoming a non-believer in trading.....
    what do u people think??????........

It depends, some people who come here for the first time don't even know what they're talking about. They read the question and think it might be a good thing, but haven't seen the disadvantages about trading yet. I think you can pretty easily convert those kind of people.

On a side note: Maybe you should do something about your posting style if you want people to take you more seriously.

This has been mentioned many many many times before, no doubt it will again.

In theory this would be an amazing idea.

However, the more you look at the intro section the more you realise that a lot of people have misunderstood the meaning behind trading. They see it as giving invites, which is what T-I does. It is very unfair to ban the people who have misunderstood the meaning of trading invites. Obviously there are traders out there who get into the forum and should be banned, it can become quite clear quite quickly who has misunderstood it and who hasnt though.

Also at some time or another I'd say that most private tracker users have thought that trading does sound like a good idea.

If I asked my friend (who doesnt use bittorrent) what he thought of trading invites, I'm sure he would say it was an awesome idea. Most people won't be giving it much thought. It's only after a lot of thought in regards to the trackers and the dealings of it that it becomes clear that trading is garb.

Agreed with Archi and Goo Ball.

A lot of people are unaware of the possible risks/affects and consequences behind trading, and banning those people would deprive them of being better educated here. They may then go off to other sources where trading is allowed and thus adding to the problem of trading.

Vegas is giving the intro a complete makeover at the moment. I believe this rule will be brought in once the make over is complete. I agree, if they say they don't mind trading it obviously means they haven't read the rules

Agreed. Once the intro makeover is complete I would love to see this rule implemented. We have enough good members coming into the site, no point taking the bad ones too.

I can't wait for the makeover. There are soo many new rules that are desperately needed. The new intro rules will force midgets to read the rules properly and thoroughly.
Especially going to like no bumping, trading and the password rules. Hopefully they are added to the finishing product

I'm with Archi, in fact, I myself considered trading to be a good thing at first: it seemed fair and made sense to me - everyone would help each other out. It was only after reading up about it that I truly understood it's against the entire concept of torrents, not to mention this site.

Give people a chance to get to know the world of torrents and private trackers, don't ban them for speaking their mind on a subject they may not fully understand just yet.

Thats fair enough if they thought trading was a good thing. But it specifically says read the rules... If midgets did read the rules there would be no doubt what there answer would be for trading. Therefore if you don't read the rules you don't belong here

the make over will be... if the answer to trading question found in the database such as: "trading is good" "I like the idea" "awesome"...etc.
As soon as the user click submit... a big BANNED message will show up LOL
    just kidding.
