After lots of members...a REAL invitation system
Ok well I was just thinking after once Torrent-Invites gets enough members or something that T-I should implement a real invitation system where you need an invite code and only registered members can generate one. Kinf on a neat idea once/if T-I gets popular.
It's really easy to install, I have installed it on my vB forum a while ago, even a supermod can install it.

it would be nice in a couple ways, people will value their account more and sort of have the exclusivity thing going on, downside is there might not be enough new invites to keep population healthy down the line.....(but can be remedied by open registration days i guess)

I'm a bit disagree. Torrent-invite is meant for everyone. It is to invite users to other private torrent sites... So, it's a bad idea.
Just posting who you are on the main forum is quite fine as it takes time to go into the rest of the forum and thus people will value their account.
Just my opinion.
The site would better off from this imo because then you'd be allowed to give invites to some sites and the admins won't be so.....Angry about it.

I don't know about that,lol. Personally I try to avoid any forums that require a mod's approval before I'm able to actually join.

you guys should do an invite code system and every member that joins you would get an iTrader. That would be cool!
That would completely defeat the purpose of iTrader as it's put in place to establish credibility in trades and otherwise and no one would be credible if they were handed out like Demonoid invites.
