Thread: The # 1.000.000 suggestion for Intro Section

This idea came while I was checking a quite doubtful intro. What about adding the secret password + T-I chosen username on the search box to the ratio proofs? Once the search is made (and 0 results are shown), the applicant takes the screenshot and uses it as ratio proof.
I think this will help enforcing the reading of the rules to find the password and it will asure the ratio proof authenticity. Else, by changing the secret password weekly, use an old screenshot would be impossible.

Its a good idea for not just the intro, but everywhere (to help reusing of proofs - makes everyone's life a little easier).

The only issue is that there are so many new users that have trouble following the simplest of directions that this would likely be hard to get to catch on properly.

yep i could see that being a big problem. Many people dont even edit their proof to begin with. Although i think changing the secret password weekly would be a good idea.

Ya..changing the password would be very useful as some people whose applications does not get through, they might re-apply in which case they are already knowing the password so changing the password and making it harder to find will make their task more gruesome

What a smart idea..it would catch the repeat offenders out that are lazy..really smart and simple

I have to disagree with one part of the idea, the part which the user/member will search for the secret password and his T-I username at the private server, because if the coders of the private server have coded their site in that way that everything is searched is recorded... after they have seen that the users have been searching for the secret password(that is on T-I) and understand that some of their members were members of T-I,they would ban them.
Of course I may being a little paranoid now about this subject and none of the private servers do that at their sites but you never know.
I would suggest writing it at url bar... although then you could make more easily a fake picture.

idk about that OKIwont, the tracker's staff are busy with so many other things that they would not have time to check stupid searches. Trust me, they have much more important things to be worrying about.

Then I guess I'm a little paranoid... :D
