    Default Another intro suggestion

I suggest that the first replier to the OP quotes the post.

This will ensure other users hrs, days later after the original post to be able to know what the original post looked like. Since some intros are changed from "i love trading" to "no trading" or somewhere in between, it's hard to know what the original post looked like.

Way to implement: just have the members tell each other if they don't do it initially so the next time they will do it.

That seems like a good idea to me. It's a decent way to try and catch traders and make sure they don't further their activities through us.

Agreed, if somebody is ok with trading we should know , although he won't trade here but he can use the invites he get here to trade else where

I think if someone says they support trading any member that reps them in should get an infraction.

If they aren't sure about what trading is or whatever then we can educate them, but too many people say "I'm fully in support of trading invites" and end up getting in regardless.

    +1 for member awareness.

I seem to remember this being suggested before. It is a good idea as long as only one person quotes the first post, otherwise intro threads would be too long to read. Already notice some doing this while others choose not to.

I wonder if there'd be a way to add a mod that allowed for quotes to be expanded or collapsed per click of a little + or - icon next to the quote, for these types of long quotes.

Need help? PM me and I'll find you the answer.

I think the op's idea is great and allowing the quote to be expanded or collapsed would make it perfect.

Its a good idea. But it could have a bad affect also. If a person in intros does not edit his/her proof and one of us quotes it, that could be bad for that person.
some people would say that anyone who does not edit their proofs would deserve to be exposed cuz they didn't read the rules. I agree but still we are here to help.
so how about this......the first reply should have the intro quoted in it except for proofs.(speedtest should be quoted)

    hope this helps.
    P.S.nice suggestion dormat029
