It kind of reminds me of the type of lists you use to block IP's in uTorrent, or with PeerGuardian.
A trader list, that a server can be told to block and is auto-updated by select forum admins every time a new trader is caught.

Reason for seeing other users bans is because of our invites. Meaning If a member has been banned not permanently of course, I would as the inviter like to know for what. Is it for flaming or disregard for rules or what.
It might be hard to implement but if there is some kind of code were when users get banned, and the mods say for what it automatically attaches it self to there profile. So this way when I click there profile it would say this user has been banned 3 times for...
Chunky
I'm with Chunky on this. It happened to me. A couple of hours after I gave an invite to a user, he was banned. And he had been banned for faking ratio proofs and speed tests. In this case there was a post on the chopping block that I was able to find so I knew why he was banned. Since then, I'm monitoring him on the tracker and if he doesn't behave, I will ask one of the admins to kick him out. So I share the idea of knowing why users are banned, just as prevention.
.
You sir, are a genius. I can never find anyone in the damn Ban List when I wanna know why they're banned, because the thing is so damn long! May I say this again... You sir, are a genius.
How about this guys, Maybe we get a search function happening in the ban list?
It may be a bit easier.
Good suggestion hopefully a decision will be made soon.

that's another good idea reksat! :D
I really don't think the ban reason should be of any concern to anyone but the user and the mod that banned him. Maybe that's just me
Can you help me out here?
It's not a lake, it's an ocean.
I am firmly for this idea, either a search in the banlist OR the reason for ban (which presumably is in the banlist) on the profile page of the user.
I have (one more than one occasion) given an invite, then BEFORE they signed up for the tracker seen the user banned. I disable the invite code right away, but if it's not for a serious issue... I wouldn't take it away, like a one week ban for doing something stupid but not threatening vs being a ratio cheat, it makes a big difference.
I think the reason on on their user-profile isn't very professional it's almost like advertising it.
A search function to search for a username that is banned in the ban is much more practical and professional.
We shall get onto it :)

Thanks reskat but another couple things. Will people who have had temp bans be permanently on the banlist? Also sometimes the reason on the banlist isn't clear. We could make some stock ones that are used most of the time like Bad Intro, Trader, Ratio Cheater. Maybe you guys could make them up.
