Thread: Give Seedboxes Section - Free Advertising

At any given time about 50% of TI's users are guests debating whether to put the effort into joining this site. That can be a difficult decision considering the abundance of competiting sites and the fact our best give aways are completely hidden to guests (VIP, Trusted and Mid-Level).

Why not create a new section in the marketplace for seedboxes? Unlike high level invites, there's no reason to hide seedbox GAs. Let's use the generosity of members like IGuessNot ($150 - 3 month dedi GA), Balauru ($100 - 2 month dedi GA x2) and countless other 1 month GAs to attract new members.

Wouldn't you put more effort into joining a site that was giving away hundreds of dollars worth of free seedboxes on a monthly basis?

I think the whole seedbox section is a good drawcard for this site anyway. I only stumbled across this site as I was in the market for a new box and was looking for reviews, wasn't even looking for invites at that stage...

But I also feel this could lead to an influx of tyrekickers. They see seedboxes being offered, join up then use them on public sites and the owner gets it from the hosting company and you never hear from the user after that.

Good idea though, I like it.

This is definitely a great idea! This would be really helpful to the people who don't have the money to buy a box or for people who have never used a seedbox before. This will cause an uproar in the new section, I can guarantee that.

sounds good im not too sure on seedboxes and all, or how they work ect. sounds like it could work well!

No wonder i couldnt find a thread from this topic.

I just lent my seedbox to a user here who i didnt even know.

Didnt give him acess, he sent me 3 torrents and i put it in.

Heading in to 20gb in 3 hours.

Sorry to ask, but is there a place where recent users can offers ou others request seedbox slots? Or is it agains the rules ( sorry ) cause i didnt know...

yea thats a good points vegas, you got me thinking about a seedbox g/a now.

Yes..not everybody have a good high speed connection at home and not everybody can afford a seedbox..I think there might be many members (new) who might be facing a challenge to cope up with the ratio requirements of the best trackers..so making seedbox GAs available to them would add to the benefits of T-I and also it will help us to get more popularity :)
