Thread: Public acknowledgement section.

I think a section is way too much, a single thread or 2x Members of the month instead of 1x.

I agree with Healium on this, it should be just like the Tracker Reviews, have a subforum for it.

What better way to cheer up after a frustrating day than to see things your friends and peers in the p2p world said about you.


Edit: Also, that way you wouldn't have to read through an entire thread to find information on a specific user if that's what you were interested in.

I see more than 2 acknowledgeable attitudes or jobs every week, and sometimes everyday, so I guess 2x members of the month will be too few.

@Loli: I would rather prefer to keep this as far as possible from the chopping block. Actually I wish that a chopping block would be useless, but as General Peron said: The only truth is reality (who's General Peron anyway?) :001_tongue:.

Great idea Jschro14! I haven't thought that before, but this could be useful at the moment to choose between two users with similar stats. If one of them has lots of pub ackn and the other none, the choice of who gets the invite becomes kind of easy. As well you know a little bit more of the invite receiver's performance in the community, so it will somehow reduce "blindness".

I just think lately we've had problems knowing who we can trust what with the What.CD issues and the extreme number of bans. Perhaps having a suedo dictionary of members would be helpful.

Don't think this is a good idea, as this would just be a public display of affection for IguessNot and of course Nuzza. It could get dirty.
