Forum Games as Sub-Forum in a Games Forum

I suggest having a Forum Games forum sub-forum within the games forum, which will be a forum about video games. That, or "Video Games" and "Forum Games" as two separate forums.

Why? Understandably, posts are not counted for forum games currently, as they are often very spammy. However, when users wish to write up detailed posts regarding gaming, I feel these posts should be more valued and counted as a post increase, rather than equivalent of a forum game post, since it's just as valuable of a post as sports, music and movie discussion.



I know it'd take a while to shift the threads, but I think others would like to see this change too. It might encourage newbie video game fans to post a bit more too to get into mid-level torrent forums if they see their post count increase.

Not so long ago a mod of OT Computers section suggested dividing it into two. Later on he agreed with me it's not a good idea (check out the thread to see why). So is this one. It's maybe semantically correct, but not really functional.
