Thread: Shoutbox

Ok so ive looked at all the threads here about the shoutbox and i can see there used to be one.

Now my suggestion is not for a shoutbox for people to chat in but to disable the chat option, so that with some codin when a new forum thread is started or a post to a thread is made for it to shout in shoutbox.

I dont know if this is done in the irc channel as ive not idled there but if not, how about a bot in irc that sends the information to irc

Just my opnion and i know people have other opinons

I've seen this used on other sites and I find it works out pretty well. Though this forum kinda has that feature already if you just go to the home page so might not be worth it.

i understand what ur sayin but how bout it on the forum page so wen ur browsing forums u can see at the top if sumone has answered you or a new post has been laid out then u dont have to keep goin back to home page to see if that scc invite is up and u missed it
