Thread: Demonoid invites

As Demonoid uses username in invites I'd suggest to offer only the amount in posts instead of the invite code as some people use their username on multiple trackers ... just a suggestion ...

Any comments?

I'm not sure what you mean by "the amount in posts" but it is my opinion that no Demonoid invites should be shared now that user names are in the code. Unless they are treated the same as other trackers IE the code should only be shared via email in the same way that users receive invites.

amount? like "5 to offer" or something like that .... thats what I meant ...

your point is exactly what I tried to point out, as the code uses the username now and people use their names more often it aint the best solution to post it "openly" - I fully agree

I agree with your suggestion. I think it would be better if they turned Demonoid into giveaways instead of that thread. Rep added.

I dont think having demonoid giveaways in the low section is a good idea at all, can you just imagine the amount of 5x demonoid threads you'd have?

Instead the demonoid thread should remain as is but with strict rules saying do not post the actual codes. Failure to comply could result in a temp ban or infraction.

BTW this had already been brought to others attention.
