Thread: Ratio Checkers

Ok, well I have seen alot of people trying to cheat on there ratio proofs, and honestly I would have missed alot of them. Thank goodness there are members here who seem to be able to pick these kind of things up. I think that maybe we should have a select group of individuals that we can PM, or a thread where we can request that they look over proofs that are given in giveaways to save people like me (not as sharp as I used to be...gettin old I guess) from being scammed. Just trying to help, If this idea is absurd or silly don't be to harsh on me.....Peace

Once I decide to invite someone I ask for a profile link to the sites which they posted ratio proofs to. This way I can verify if they match. If you are not a member of any of the same sites, maybe you could ask a mod to check them for you. You could also pm me the info and I would be willing to check it out.

I here ya, but some of these guys seem pretty handy at photoshop and such, and I have seen things that I never would have noticed. I know the Mods already have their hands full,and just thought maybe a few good members (like yourself) could offer their sevices to help weed out the scammers.

Zafo good idea. Maybe we can have a few trusted members here patrol the forums asking for profile links to the proofs they have. This could be good to monitor this further. IDK. As of now, dont ask for links if its not your g/a but maybe in the future there can be a staff position or two for this.

Good idea I guess. I mean, it's more of random checks. But it would suck if some1 got a couple invites then we found out they cheated :(

Having a group of people verify proofs and look at profiles is an excellent idea.

We already seem to have a number of people who patrol the forums spotting faked or stolen proofs, though having a designated group for it would make everything more organized and streamlined.

What I'm saying is if you got a few people that you are considering for a give away, you could send the proofs they provided to you to a select group of members to have them look them over for you for possible alterations.....Peace

This would be best if we could see this happening more for high level invites as this is where most ratios are cheated. We would need people with acess to lots of sites.

I understand schuwe, but what about the ones who post their "photoshopped" proofs here? I have seen some stuff caught by other members here that I would have never seen.
