Indeed so, if some people can't understand that by using same name here and on trackers they can potentially risk their account as well as accounts of people who invited them or people whom they invited, they should be banned.

I don't believe that would help one bit, people would simply put "signed" or whatever is necessary even if they use same names, I mean if they are unable or unwilling to understand this:

DURING REGISTRATION DO NOT USE THE SAME USERNAME AS THE ONE YOU USED IN TORRENT TRACKERS!

and btw that is taken from rules on which everyone already had to agree before proceeding with registration, then unfortunately, there can be only one course of action.

So obviously, there are exceptions. But I also understand that I am an exception. Most people are here to do give aways and give invites. If you are here for giveaways then you do endanger your accounts and invitees...
I've actually decided to take the same route as you in terms of not doing giveaways. Well, unless the tracker permits public giveaways. I much prefer just filling requests as it allows me to better select my invitees.

For most people, using the same username on here as on trackers poses a risk to both one's inviters and invitees. There surely has to be a site or two that will ban nearly a whole invite tree for such a thing.

a zero-tolerance rule on this situation should definetly be enforced. if people are so ignorant to the rules, as to not even be able to choose a proper username (before even posting an intro!), then they are probably not the type of member we would want in T-I

Guess this rule appeared to late for me (or maybe i missed back then when i registered)

I already use the "Contact Us" to try changing my username here but still got no answer... what can I do?

For the record I did sign up up with a different username than you see now. That reason was explained to staff. My name has been changed actually in the last week so that more people can identify with me since I do recruit for more than one tracker and I go by this name everywhere.

So, I hope that nobody is confused in why I am not banned. As mentioned in an earlier post there are exceptions.

There are exceptions and you are a prime example of one, you are here to recruit members for trackers which is different than I would guess 99% of people who sign up here.

I honestly didnt think of anyone in your position when I made my initial post. I really made the post with the people in mind who join and participate in giveaways with the same username in direct violation of their trackers rules and putting others accounts in jeopardy.

What you do here, I'm sure is greatly appreciated by myself and I'm sure by everyone else.

yeah bumrocks, i didn't mean you when i was saying that, i understand since ur a recruiter why they had your name changed. :) -- but other than recruiters like you, i'm not sure about any other possible exceptions...
