Thread: Tracker Auto Download Scripts Section

Basically says it all in the headline.

I want us to have an AutoDownloader Scripts section on TI

Maybe a SUB Section under Bit-Torrent Discussion

I would like for people who have IRC scripts or Web based scripts that will allow us to alter and modify to personal preference much like the SCC script i have seen.

I would like it to be stickied up the top with the tracker name and Inside you will have the text dump of the code as per following

Love the idea.. Maybe call the subforum something more general like "Tracker maxing" and let people give tips for each tracker on what is best to seed, their auto IRC scripts, and anything else people can come up with to help others stay afloat.

We have lots of generic "improve your ratio" copied threads, but each tracker is unique. We need "how to get passed the first 8gb on TL," "which free movie packs to jump on for bit-HD" ect..

IRC Script sharing is a great first start.

Well i'm not exactly aiming for that but that would be a good idea i'm basically just saying this is specifically for IRC Scripts for all trackers so we can automatically download our favorite TV show

It is for ratio boosting as well though.

True, I was just saying it would be easier to get a subforum that encompassed more than just irc scripts. Either way, great idea.. hope they find a way to get it added.

would these scripts work with my seedbox running Ubuntu ?

Thats what they are designed for.

Run the IRC Client from your desktop and it connects to your webui of uTorrent and auto downloads them :)

What the frig? That looks great reksat, can you send me a link to expand on what this script is about, and where it fits? I love the upping of the tech quota. Totally over my head but I love to read about it - armchair nerd, thats me!

A tutorial to download all the free torrents on ScT and auto upload them to a seedbox running uTorrent would get my vote.

Since lots of people, including me, dont have a clue with irc or what to do with the scripts we would need a lot of help.

There is a MIRC autodownloader tutorial on the forums at SCT. :001_tongue:
I set mine up a few days ago, it really is easy to do. They have a copy of the config file you can download already preconfigured to download all free torrents.
