I am absolutely in favour of NOT counting Area 51 posts. It is really easy to make a POST BUFFER their.
Yeah, that's what I would like to call it.
I just wish i could have an option to delete the bump post to keep the giveaways clean... so there would be like one bump post all the time after 24h i would delete the post and make a "new" bump again but this will bring some problems like people could bump their threads earlier i don't know if there can be some timer done that you can make a new post only after 24h i don't know... also i would like to have an option to delete giveaway thread when i am out of invites or some limited time invites are expired... i know at T-I V2 i could delete any thread i want when i was VIP but now i just can't there is no option for that i would really like to see this at least for the Exalted :) but i know i can delete posts in the help selection and VIP selection and some other part on the forum... This is a good suggestion IPv4 but if you are doing some giveaway you should be also rewarded with some posts added to your total posts... but yeah i also hate that bump posts :S will see what the others say :P btw if i would not delete that old giveaways i was doing i would now have like 5000 posts lol just saying :D

This would be a bit hard to implement.

To stop with all endless bumps the only i can find is with a bump button. We can find a lot of threads suggesting this and it never got accepted. I personally would love to see this.
This has been suggested a few times and it won't ever get passed, the main reason this forum exists is for the area 51 section, everything else is extra. Period, there's no more to it than that.
What you're suggesting is the equivalent of saying lets take away the scoring in football and let them just tire themselves out on the field for shits and giggles. The bulk of posts on this forum happen in that section, seeing someone else bump their threads shouldn't upset you, and no amount of recreating this thread will change the fact that those posts will always be counted. I understand people get upset seeing people with more posts than them who have 20 giveaways open and 1 bump per day, but this is first and foremost an invite forum.

I would suggest trying variations of your title next time, to see what results are returned.
