I see a lot of midgets posting in other people's introduction threads saying things like "welcome man im new 2" and useless drivel like that. It's already against the rules, but they continue to do it anyway. Is there any way that some kind of coding or script (is that even the right word?) could be implemented to prevent midgets from posting in any thread but their own? I know ZERO about html and coding so feel free to tell me if it's not possible or too much work.
Also, I think there should be a rule that says anyone without repping power should not be allowed to post in any of the intro threads, other than their own. Because it seems to me we get a lot of "welcome dude" type posts from people who don't have the power to rep in, which might lead midgets to believe they're getting in when they may not... which seems unfair to the midgets and annoys the reppers. I personally think that the newcomers (those who are at ten percent) should have to reach 33% before posting in other people's intro threads. This gives them time to concentrate on getting to know the forum and the current members before worrying about the midgets.
Thoughts?
