I haven't even been back to that section after I was let in but I agree with what you are saying, I have noticed spam all over this forum in the 1 day I have been here. People copying my posts and all sorts of lame tricks to try and improve their post count.

It's shameless and anything to help prevent users from spamming their way to 100 posts I fully support. Not that my opinion really matters yet.
You would be surprised. Some people look back at even your earliest posts to decide if you would be a good member. They dont care as much for speedtests, ratio proofs, post count or iTrader but prefer to see how you act and if you make quality posts.

    Not me though :001_tongue:

On topic: I would agree and go further.

Off topic: I would even restrict new members from initiating PM's in the first week. It is annoying to get random "invite me to [good tracker]" PM's from people who have joined today and think I am going to give them invites to good trackers. I dont want the n00bs banned, and I dont want to appear rude by ignoring them or just saying no, but I dont want to have to keep explaining to them the way things work.

This is altogether wrong..But I guess 1 warning must be given as they are newbie..So banning them for this wouldnt be the right thing or having so much restrictions on the newbies would also be not right..I think...
