Simply having a bad ratio does not warrant any type of infraction considering there are many users who only have slower residential lines to do their seeding. Although, having a bad ratio that leads to a ban from the tracker is a whole other matter. You can, and it's well within your right, to leave the user a negative iGiver. Be sure to clearly indicate what the negative iGiver is for (e.g,, banned at
TL for low ratio, banned at
SCC for inactivity, etc.).
I agree with Crack0r_Jack to some extent, but I don't think hiding every incriminating fact about a user is wise. If they messed up on a tracker and got banned for it, inviters needs to know. Start handing out those negative iGivers so other members don't get burned for it as well. Yes, this may seem punishing to newer members, but it's also their responsibility to understand how to manage their own accounts - you simply can't place this upon the inviter to do or foresee. A user is fully capable of knowing whether or not he's struggling at a tracker; so if you are, seek some aid from your inviter or from the help section prior to your account being banned indefinitely. Trackers normally give notice before a permanent ban for low ratio is issued so there shouldn't be any surprises, thus, no excuses.
