How about offering ppl rep for changing their old iGivers to the new format?
"I like you the way I like Lardo"
A old thread but I´m posting any way.
I experience the same issue, and I don´t feel comfortable to invite someone who has left a lot of "thanks" och "invite" Igivers.
Dropbox with | bonus/seedbox/invite
and maybe with a mandatory text box to fill in which site the Igiver is refering to.?
This issue is currently being discussed and evaluated by Staff. The current system and rules prohibit the thank you instead of tracker igiver it is just folks do not adhere to policy. I can not agree more that this should be something that should be implemented +1
only the shadow knows the evil in the heart of men
I agree completely, would be great to see it put in.
I suggested something similiar a while back: Updated iGiver Form but it was judged to be too heavy coding at the time, but something that maybe would be put in later
Totally agree with you DocDoom.
There are rules in how iGivers should be completed. If someone gives you an iGiver and fails to adhere to these rules, by specifying the type of GA, and if applicable the tracker name then you should report it.
Given the volume of iGivers it is not feasible for staff to police it as a matter of course, and will rely on members to report when they are not done correctly.
This is a valuable tool for members to protect themselves from inviting account dupers, so it is in your interest to make the effort to report iGivers you receive that do not follow T-I rules.
"The strength to change what I can, the inability to accept what I can't, and the incapacity to tell the difference."
well, usually new members doesn't read the Rules and Regulations. so +1 for this suggestion
