It's true what you said that many members get their account banned being on this forum but if members actually take the necessary precaution to save their account then there actually is no problem at all. Members are too easy-going that nothing will happen and when it does happen they freak out.

Example: x264 uses history to find out that if you are a part of T-I or not then why not use a different browser for trackers and T-I. I currently use 4 browsers dedicated to different sites. No tracker is used in the browser which I use to access T-I.

Simple as that. There are precautions but people just don't want to use them. So I say that no x264 give-aways shouldn't be banned.
Are you even remotely aware of how x264 got our IPs? It wasn't remotely related to the browsers we used, in fact that tactic is so old, I really didn't think anyone would even bring it up again. Sorry dude but you need to read up on the latest news before you make assumptions as to how x264 did things. It's not as "simple" as that. Also I'm not trying to deny users the right to get whatever invites they want, rather just pointing out that in a matter of a week more than a dozen of us lost our accounts and even someone in staff. If it's as simple as just being careful about who you give the invites to and how, I wouldn't bring this up, but the fact of the matter is they attacked us directly in a way we couldn't protect ourselves. Everyone here who's opposing to it is saying the exact same thing, that we have to be careful as to how we hand them out and guess what, I was. Go and try and find my giveaways for x264, or see my igiver history for the invites I gave out, I dare you. That's right, there were no giveaways here before I got banned as far as my viewable history here says it, but guess what lol I still got banned. It's not about who you give out invites. Nowadays we've gone as far as having to be careful about what links we click. I don't even think it was IP logger link to begin with as I pointed out in my post in Vegas' thread, but if that "answer" makes people feel at ease then so be it. I'm just tired of dealing with all the BS from x264.

Ok got your point on what you are trying to say but don't you think by just banning x264 giveaways you'll just be giving into x264's way? That's exactly what they want, to disable giveaways of x264 on T-I and well they're pretty much getting it. And as ECH3LON already said "TI members should be allowed to join any tracker they wish. Even if it is risky." Rather than saying ban x264 giveaways why not try and find a new solution for the problem? As Mickey_D we could move it to 55% giveaways only too. Just trying to say that banning won't change a thing infact it will start a cycle of trading (since invites will not be available freely). Still no in my opinion.

Ok thats enough now folks, this is getting a little out of hand...

This is exactly the kind of behavior/reaction the tracker concerned is trying to provoke, people running about with their asses on fire panicking about if they are the next one going to be banned. This happens all the time, it has happened in the past and no doubt it will happen in the future - it is the unfortunate reality of being a member of T-I and one that we all face.

Rest assured the staff are looking into further ways of ensuring security is maintained on site and addressing any concerns that may have been raised with this latest set of bannings. The situation regarding x264 is being monitored and IF we feel that further measures need to be taken then you will be duly informed, until that time I suggest that the speculating is put on the back burner and we continue as normal.
