The problem with creating a spreadsheet/table based on things such as users is the fact those figures are dynamic, meaning they constantly change. That alone would make the maintenance of such a table/spreadsheet a complete nightmare as it would never be "in date" and since the table could only be maintained by the person that has created the thread in the fist place it would make that persons workload labour intensive.
Personally I don't think that there is a need to have a top 10 of trackers. Each person here has their own preferences of what they would use and why. Having a top 10 (as El2em has already pointed out) encourages a trader mentality plus is also encourages people to collect, since everyone would want to be part of something classed as "Elite". If people wish to find out about a particular tracker or indeed they wish to find alternatives and do a comparison then I would suggest that the best place to look would be in the reviews.
The reviews can be sorted into their various genres and they provide all the necessary facts/figures about that site. Also included within those reviews are the personal experiences from past/present members, this alone would give you a lot more insight about a particular tracker, all that alone would be much more invaluable than just a list of "whats hot and whats not".
