Ok lets try the gazillionth time...

If you receive a letter for downloading copyrighted material it is generally from your ISP asking you to refrain from such activities, basically if you fail to quit downloading stuff thats deemed copyrighted you risk having your services cut. Generally the people that are getting these letters are those that use public sites such as piratebay, isohunt and other such public trackers.

Just because you get a letter for downloading a specific torrent doesn't mean I will if I do, that's what I meant by scare mongering "I'm not going to download that torrent because I MIGHT get a letter", along with "I'm not going to join that tracker because loads of people have gotten letters about downloading stuff from there", if everyone thought that we nobody would download anything and you are playing straight into the hands of those that want bittorrent shut down.

I'm sorry but I don't see the need for a list. Its really simple, if you don't want to risk getting a letter then don't download stuff - easy as that.

So in the words of the dragons - "I'm out"

Just on a side note: Your point about having a unique user name here btw is a mute one - not everyone has a unique name (you know who you are - get it changed if you don't) and to be perfectly honest it doesn't take a genius to work out who some of you are on your trackers.
