Default More white theme troubles: white/light text on background

    Hi all,

I'm not sure if this request is possible but I think it should be in PHP.

I just ran into a problem where I had reported a post because all I saw was links to merchandise and I figured someones account was hacked and posting links to shopping sites. After I reported it I noticed seme very faint text (the background in a quoted section is a little darker). I highlighted the area and saw the white text on a slightly off-white background.

If you switch your theme to white and go here you can see what I mean: Trackers with k9 freestyle and healwork to music dvd

This is really nice for users in the black theme. White text on black is very visible. But for white themed users it can be very confusing or you can even miss things you don't know are there. My suggestion is to dynamically change the color of the font depending on the theme. This can be done with just a subset to avoid color range x font in color x theme. I'm not master of PHP but I think this can be done at page generation with an if statement.

It would be really great if it can be done for a wider range of colors like yellow on white which is still difficult to see but at least it's not invisible :) Waffles.fm (WFL) Review

Yah, usually when I come upon a post where things seem invisible, I have to change the dark theme if I actually want to read it. Usually though, I just pass on it. So I guess if you want 100% of the people here to see what you are posting, don't use white, or even any of the other light colors, cause its close to impossible to read.

JJ made an announcement about this a few months ago, asking people to not use white in their posts. I'm sure there's something magic we can do to stop people posting in white, but for now please report any posts you see with white text and someone will edit it.

Can't there just be one more theme which is close to the white one but a light colour as text background? very light grey for example?

I would like a grey theme.

Also, @ Rebirth, the white theme is actually slightly off-white grey :D
