Thread: Change wording on intro template

The current intro template reads like this:

Just answer these question to the best of your knowledge;
- Tell us a bit about yourself
- Why do you want to be a part of Torrent-Invites, and what can you contribute?
- What private trackers are you a part of? What private trackers would you want to be a part of someday?
- How did you find us?

(Optional, will help increase you chances of getting invited)
- What's your favorite torrent tracker?
- What do you use torrents for (e.g movies, music, etc.)
- [Post ratio proof/s]



I think we should remove the part that says optional. The reason is people who rep people in are requiring this portion, not making it optional. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for stricter reps, but to a new member, it is probably quite confusing why they are not being rep'd in when they answer the mandatory part. Most new users don't do the last portion as this is probably the first invite site they have been to and don't really know how to make a ratio proof. No excuses, they can learn beforehand, but when it says it's optional, why would they?

I think i will change it. give it a try.
