Everyone is allowed to close their own threads. Actually, you can find how to do it in the Torrent-Invites FAQ.

I have to say no to this suggestion. At least with 2 weeks. If this were implemented I'd say the waiting time should be something around 1 or 2 months. Why? Because I know there are users that do not bump their giveaways, they just have links for them in their signatures or simply let people use the search function and find them. No rule against that. So closing giveaways automatically in just 14 days would really be a bad choice. Anyway, what if someone applies after a month? Most invites don't have an expiration date, and some users don't feel like bumping.

A similar (but flawless) suggestion would be "automatically close banned user's giveaways" since they are the ones who can't just get in and close them themselves

Anyway, this is just my opinion

I'm actually bumping my giveaways once in a month, or even once in a two or three months when I don't have invites to add. I would hate opening them everytime I want to bump them, and I bump only some of them not all of them.

I like the idea about taking inactivity into equation. But personally I'm against this unless the time period for closing giveways starts from 3 months due to inactivity.
