Thread: More Invites!

there are a lot of members here but the invites are few.
to the number of people i would think there would be more balanced wth the invites both quality and numbers would be better

how can everyone improve on this?
hopefully after enough suggestions there will be an action

I disagree. There are a considerable number of invites here. I'm not sure what you were expecting.. but it wouldn't be reasonable to see every invite in existence offered 24/7. There are a large number of invites available at any given time and if you watch over a few months you will see invites to almost any tracker you can imagine, including quite a few high level ones.

Quite a few of these are offered in the 10% giveaway forum. But after a while you will also get access to the 33 and 55% forums where higher level invites show up more often. And once you reach 33%, you can also post in the requests forum. There is also an option to purchase a VIP membership which not only helps support the site but gives you access to yet another invite area.

I don't really see how you can improve the fact that people share their invites on here?
Do you want to force them? How?
What do you expect? People can't share more than they get from their trackers.
Do you expect someone to give out invites to random people without having any insurance that they are good members in the risk of losing their own high valuable account?
Not everybody gets a lot of invites and most of the people are also only a short time member in their trackers and therefore they don't get any or only a few invites.
If you want an invite to a particular tracker you have to be very fast as you will often see a lot applications in a few minutes.

I have seen GAs for nearly every tracker on here and some of those invites are extremely rare, but you won't find them in the 10% section.
It depends what kind of invites you expect, but people risk their high level accounts when they invite people and that aquire you to, most of the time, show a lot of ratio proofs from other respected trackers. Nothing is free and everything has to be earned on here, which is good.

Try being more active on here and reach the 33% and 55% levels and then you might see that we have a very high amount of invites being offered. Plus once you hit 33% you can make requests for the trackers that are not on here that you are searching for.

And as for improving on it I don't see how that can be done nor is there any action that can be taken. We do NOT have to offer a single thing on here if we don't want to even if the staff said we had too, all that would do is cause a great number of us to leave this place.

And not trying to sound like an asshole (even though I am) this immediately raises a red flag to me as my first thought was "Hmmm more invites so this guy is either a collector, or someone after the more lucrative invites to sell and trade" that may sound harsh but that's exactly what I think.

Also just because we have 100,000 registered members doesn't mean we have 100,000 active members.

Getting a Private Tracker is like trying to get a hot sexy woman.... You have to know the right places and work your way up like Engima78 said, but you also have to make friends and know people. I remember first starting out with torrents Demonoid was the hottest thing..... now its a bleep in the past. If you move up and make friends "irc chat" be smart not stupid you might actually get somewhere... I found that out the hard way. But the invites is only accessed by the user and level. Old Quote " If you don't like what you see, O'Well get on with it." as my grandfather used to tell me. You see what your intitled to, you want more? make the effort. Want to be Elite "L337", again make the effort not just want you have to give something back to the community.... work your way up Torrenting is like a job... start as a cook then work your way up to a manger then the CEO. point blank in a nutshell.

What are you talking about? There are so many great trackers availalbe in 10%. You can get RevTT, SCC, GFT, TL, IPT and other great invites there, what else are you looking for? You only need a couple of trackers to get everything you want. IPT, RevTT or TL as General. PTP, TehConnection for movies and so on. Those are really easy to receive also. Just because T-I is free, doesn't mean people just give hand outs. You have only "11" posts here, try helping out more, answer users threads, stir up an intersting conversation, get people more invloved here at T-I and people will start noticing you and respecting you more. You wont believe how many dickheads come here, sign up and then message you 50 times for an invite, I have at least 5 lazy people messaging me a day. Also, starting your own small GA would be a great start. I was able sign up to a couple great trackers befog I came to T-I, so I had something under my belt. We spend a lot of time here, I know I do, everyone takes this seriously.

i just thought the site should encourage a higher rate of invites (in numbers) . maybe a better percentage system that really encourages some to work and try to get invites. basically be stricter

so...you're complaining about how easy it is to get invites? that's a first

yes, we could make T-I a little stricker and move most of the "good" trackers to the 33% level but all it would do, is shrink T-Is activity. Lets face it, most of the guys here come for the invites and go where the wind takes them. What then? We'd have more invites because/but there's not that many people hunting them. Anyways, T-I doesn't keep track of tracker levels and everyone with an invite is free to choose how and where his going to share his giftbag...
