Thread: Make torrent invites a little more attractive

Hello to all TI members

just want to let you know about my first impression of the torrent invites website. when i first saw this site i was not quite attracted to it and i thought that this site will be really difficult to understand but i was wrong.
My suggestion is that you should make this site a little clear to understand for the first time viewers so that they get a good impression of this site.
Please don't mind this but i thought i should share this with you guys what i thought when i first viewed this site and also some of my friends also say the same about this site.

I like the fact that you are trying to improve this place, however, that suggestion isn't really helping.

What you should tell us is what you think should be done in order to "make this site a little clear to understand for the first time viewers".
See my point? Saying "I think this should be better" is not a real suggestion "I think this will be better if we do this and that" is a correct suggestion.

So, feel free to add ideas to your post :) but I must say, the biggest problem for newcomers is that 90% DO NOT read the Torrent-Invites Rules and Torrent-Invites FAQ before they start their activity.

Hmmm, IMO the black theme is AWESOME. I have never felt any difficulty navigating the website and everything is well organized (although the rules could probably do with a little grouping scheme, which has already been suggested by TankGirl and I think it's already being worked on). Also, as we have two options to choose from already, the white theme and the black theme, I don't see the point in taking up time to improve eye-candy (unless it can be done REALLY quickly, THEN I want a unicorn and rainbows in the background with chocolate-colored names and a PONY that greets me everytime I login :D) instead of working on the huge list of improvements that probably already exists.

But then, that's just my opinion, I thought I'd throw it in there. I'll be on my way now :)

well Kevin for the front page i think that the colour of the titles should be changed from blue. It is not quite attractive and don't you think their should be some pictures on the front page??

Hmm... I think things are nice the way they are. You can always change the background image if you don't like the default one.
You can also change to the white theme or the standard vBulletin style at the bottom left of every page.
Let me show you the way I see things:
Dark theme
White Theme
vBulletin standard

Hey, I'm just giving my opinion as well. The suggestion is still up - I am not the one who approves or rejects them ;-)

i'm with you there all the way. this place looks good in black
