As for easier to understand, I am currently working on a whole new revamped rules system which will contain all of the rules in one simple page with tabs for each individual section. This is going to be a big change to the way our rules work, look and feel. It will also look a load less daunting to the new members.

I for 1 don't like the dark theme, but as mentioned there are 2 others to choose from.

I get your point though, first impressions last!

I don't want to give too much away, but lets just say that myself and a few other staff members are currently working very hard on a few projects that will bring some exciting new changes to T-I!

just want to let you know about my first impression of the torrent invites website. when i first saw this site i was not quite attracted to it and i thought that this site will be really difficult to understand but i was wrong.
My suggestion is that you should make this site a little clear to understand for the first time viewers so that they get a good impression of this site.
Please don't mind this but i thought i should share this with you guys what i thought when i first viewed this site and also some of my friends also say the same about this site.
    Thanks

I think the biggest confusion for me was, the difference between likes, igiver, and rep. I may be alone in this, but honestly, I was here for over a month before I learned what rep was. I thought that in order to move up in TI user class, you needed Igiver.. I actually read all of the rules, on my first visit, and continue to reference them when I have questions, but to be honest, I learned what rep is from a actual giveaway thread vs through any rules, FAQ, etc. To me, this means that it was either unclear, or not actually emphasized. That is my biggest concern. As far as the look, I have helped run many a websites and you learn, that everyone has their own opinion, you will never make everyone happy there, you only really rely on a mass consensus, if you can get one. I personally like the white theme, 1 because its easier on the eyes, and 2, because I prefer userCP over Settings.

Funny, after making this post, I thought to myself, why was I so confused? so I looked at the TI FAQ again, and well, do I feel dumb, it is obviously clearly stated what rep is. So, I know I was confused, but I cannot honestly say why. If I had to venture a guess, I would say it most likely is because your Igiver here is the same format as reputation on a forum I used to run, so the confusion seems to be self inflicted..:P

i think that TI should finish the rep IGIVER system as it seems really confusing for new members. Its just a suggestion, the rest is up to TI staff. I have an idea why don't we ask peaple about the igiver system. Should it stay or should it be removed??

The iGiver system is not up for debate. iGivers are not just a pretty number, they are essential for record-keeping of the invites someone gives and gets, and are a powerful tool when it comes to finding users trying to create dupe accounts. Many, and I mean many, scammers have been banned from TI thanks to the iGiver system.

Rep, as you can see in our FAQ, is something you should give only to posts that you think are helpful, to you or to others. I almost always rep a post when I see that the poster has put some though in it and made a clear and complete opinion/giveaway/competition or when someone gives a really good answer in the help section. Since rep is only given in those situations, when you see a member with many rep you can be sure he is a trustworthy guy.

So, in my opinion, the rep and iGiver system a good the way they are.
