Thread: Not a good idea to giveaway newly created acc of open trackers

hi there to all,
i've noticed sth on the forums and i wanted your opinion because well that's what matters most in here.
i've seen people in the give invites section giving away accounts from trackers that are open
what's the point of that? i mean if those accounts had some up/down GBs and a good ratio i could understand it but they are newly created with 0 up/down.
Ain't that ... i don't know, something not good?
I also want badly to increase my itrader-rep thingy but i don't think that's the way.

yeah i understand you but if someone get an invite but he doesn t like this tracker he wants to give it away that someone else is happy with it . what s wrong with that??

I agree, it's annoying, but some people just don't check whether or not it's open anyways so the people doing the giveaway get iTraders anyways. It's up to the people that are asking for the accounts to check themselves (I'll admit, there's been a time when I didn't check... ahhh, was I ever that young?).

Secondly, the best way to get your iTrader up is to simply just give away invites you have. Simple. Perhaps do a competition if you like? Make it seem like it's really worth the effort to get the invite you're offering. Try it!

Some ppl don't know if they are open or not

i'm not talking for people who accidentally giveaway an invite or an acc for a tracker that happened to be open at that time.That is Ok and normal and usually those type of accounts have a bit of traffic (some GBs up/down, and hopefully some good ratio)

but i'm talking about sth else
i've seen (actually i've been given) an account that

1) was just a few hours-days created, that means that the giver knows it's open,
2) the acc has 0 up/down, that means that the giver never tried the acc to see if he likes or not and then give it away. so the only purpose of creating it was just to give it away and get itrade-rep.at least wait until the tracker closes again, then it would have some value, and the itrader-rep would be justified-rightful
3) those kind of givers, they go to the "Trackers with open Signups" section they watch which trackers open up, they go there, make an account and then put it on the giveaway and get the itrade-rep. And that is what i condemn and i think is wrong!
it has become more like business! and those kind of users may reach some 10-20-30 numbers of itrader without having ever contribute anything of value (even low value).

Of course it's ok if someone tries an account sees he doesn't like it and then give it away, i've done it also,if you are new and don't have invites that's the only way but that means that this account has been active for a little time, and has some GB traffic and a good ratio and is hopefully on a closed trackers, so it has some value even if it's low. so this doesn't fall in what i described above in the 1,2,3.
so now maybe i made it a little clearer what i condemn? i hope you understand better now what i was trying to say.

yeah, i agree with you that the people that are asking for the accounts should check themselves, but sometimes you get carried away and are happy that someone gave you a gift! that you forget to check, and afterwards, when you've already given the itrader-rep you realize that the account they gave you it's sth you could just create yourself in this open tracker in a few seconds and no sweat, and then you feel a bit fooled-scammed.
I admit some of us are still newbies in here! myself included!

you don´t need to download / upload something to not like it .
reasons:
there is not enough to download which i like or i cant find anything
the design is bad or the pres
bad community

when u have a tracker and u dont like it u leave it expire,delete from inactivity.
u dont give it away so someone else gives u itrader.

I understand both points but I do think that you can find out if you like the site even before D/U on it. For me even if its a fast tracker I won't use it if its not user friendly or an annoyance in other ways. I basically only use Demonoid, IPT, STM, and BitSoup if that tells ya anything.

so if u dont like it why u need invites?
do a research before u ask for an invite.see the reviews and think what u want.
dont just apply in every invite thread.
