Thread: Remove Deal URL as a required field for iTrader

I just went to give an iTrader credit and I keep getting an error that states the Deal URL is invalid. This happened to me yesterday and I wasn't able to give the user the credit they deserve.

The user PMed me the info from the reply I made on the BitGamer post in the Torrent Reviews forum (http://www.torrent-invites.com/track...-bitgamer.html).



I recommend that you guys remove this as being a required field because there isn't always going to be a time where there's a thread where the inviter posts. Also, because it seems kinda buggy because of the one I tried to do yesterday where the post was in the Give Invites forum.

I agree actually. It's really bothersome when it's in give invites or something and sometimes it doesn't even seem to work.

well, its there to insure that you actually participated in the thread, and its not just a account created to boost count...

I dunno... if you guys want a system where itrader is a little more free, you woudnt be able to rely on it as a judge of reputation no?

You would have to scrutenise each itrader individually.

Maybe have the deal url not needed but also make it so a mod/admin has to approve of the itrader. Maybe add a field that lets the user input the reason for the itrader being given therefore they can either put in a deal url or print screen their messages between each other. =]

That way a mod/admin can approve of the itrader and has proof of it.

your not suppose to write "for the revtt invite" your suppose to write a comment about speedy delivery and what not....

Too much to approve for mods... We'll end up just mass approving them without checking
