Thread: Suggesstion for the shoutbox"

I noticed that when two regular users (not vips or staff) are using the shoutbox, it is hard to read a single shout, the fact that the username is the same color as the regular text trick your eyes. I suggest to automatically put a blank line after each shout to make it easier to read, or change the username colors at the shoutbox, the "#" and the time don't really help.

I agree that it's hard to read a shout, and that something should be done. But instead of putting a blank line after each shout, since there's obviously a space issue, perhaps making the #12:34 in bold would solve the problem?

Alternating colors of usernames might end up looking a bit messy in my opinion.

A blank line would take up too much space and look silly IMO.
Username colours can't be done as username colours correspond to ranks.

I really don't see a problem here, how is it hard to read the shouts!?
Each shout starts on a new line so its rather obvious who is saying what? well it is for me lol.

Well, obviously it's not a massive problem, and the fix shouldn't be high on any priority list.
I'm just saying that I agree on the fact that it is a problem of sort, or at least that there's some room for improvement.
And the solution wouldn't be that difficult either, would it? (I'm not a programmer though, so I would not know :P)

i though that blue was the color for regular users. so why not make those names blue?
