Put Lotto into sub-forum

Hi mods,

I am thinking if Lotto will be use as a sub-forum of competition like Give invites have.
- 10 %
- 33 %
- 55 %





Then its very useful for members.

i don't get it (maybe it's the insomnia).
you mean the IRC lotto subforum should have its own branches or the forum should have a lotto-type-thingy much similar to the IRC one?

if it's the first one, then i'm against the notion (even though i rarely go to the IRC myself). why limit the access to the winning pot when the same invites are handed out on regular basic in our regular giveaways? also, chatting a couple of hours on IRC is equal to about 100 posts in the forum - you'll get to know the personalities either way. after that, people still ask ratio proofs and profile links to have smth to fall back to (or burn the sucker when he screws up ).

if it's the later one, then i think i...is it even doable?...i need sleep...

see the ss for understanding it ... i am saying that in main page there should be a link of Lotto section, through this you can directly open the Lotto section instead of going to competition first then Lotto same as Give invites have 3 sub-forums in main page.

I'm not sure that its such a good idea to do that, people already think that the lotto is another GA forum, and we are constantly reminding people that they can not apply for invites in there unless they have won the lotto in IRC. Linking it from the GA forums is just going to increase the traffic through there and make the section mods and global mods workload increase.

Those people that use IRC know where to find the sub-forum and those that are new very quickly learn ;)

and yeah if the members are thinking that Lotto is another GA Forum than use your power and lock this forum, its open only for winners and only for selected people like me ;)

Lotto already has its own thread. We do not need more and more sub-forums plus lotto is popular but only available to those who are in IRC So its own thread is fine.

I still stand by what I said before - I still think its a bad idea, it will still generate loads of traffic through there and it will still be "Can I apply for" and it dramatically increase the workload of the section mods, and the global mods. Like I said, those that play the lotto know where to find the info and those that don't but are in IRC find out really quick.

on this here I got to agree with both TG and HB, the lotto was just revamp and given its own section in the competition area of our forum. I do not believe anything else is required
