With the ICC Cricket World Cup starting soon what are your predictions?

My top 4:
1st. India
2nd. South Africa
3rd. Australia
4th. England



I might be slightly biased towards SA though :D
South Africa needs a cricket trophy though :(

Dude you watch cricket me too!!! But yea I think India will take control with strong captain ship from Dhoni and good opening from Ghambir and Shewag.

India at home might be too strong

My thoughts on this are how England lost to Ireland and struggled against Holland yet they managed to get a draw against India. While South Africa has managed to wipe the floor with Holland and beat the West Indies. So South Africa are looking good but then anything can happen once the group stages are over :P

Possible the biggest game of the tournament so far going down tomorrow. South Africa vs India.
Still not sure if Tahir will be playing for SA or if he will sit out due to his fractured thumb.

Also a surprise result today after Bangladesh beat England after a fantastic 9th wicket partnership. Was a great come back from them after being absolutely destroyed by the West Indies in their previous match.

England now have to beat the West Indies in their last match just to stay in the world cup.

Wow what a match between India and SA

India won the toss and cruised to a massive total of 267 for 1 with 10 overs still remaining and looked they they would easily reach 350 but then the batting power play shook things up and India collapsed to 296 all out.

South Africa then had a slow start but thanks to some quick runs from De Villiers they looked like they would be able to reach 300. However India where constantly getting wickets and keeping the run rate down which resulted in 13 runs being need off the last over. Peterson on strike to Nehra and managed to get a luck 4 off the 1st ball, a massive 6 off the 2nd then a quick 2 off the 3rd which brought the scores level with 3 balls remaining. Peterson then managed to get a ball through the fielders who had all been brought up and sealed the South African victory.

It was an amazing match and interestingly enough is the 5th anniversary of the famous 438 game where South Africa managed to beat Australia in a massive run chase at the wanderers where Australia set the highest total ever in an ODI and South Africa managed to chase it down.
