Now that we're about halfway through the season, who do you think are the teams to beat right now? And How are the playoffs looking? What match-ups would you like to see. And who is making the biggest argument for MVP this year?

I'm a big Knicks fan. They have a long way to come, but to me, it's great they are relevant again after so many years!
They can't compete with the lakers, celtics, heat, etc. but maybe once they get Carmello. :)
gotta rep my boys the mavericks! i have to say dirk has proven time and time again that he's still a MVP-caliber player and it was proven when he was out for ten games (or so). ugliest looking games ive ever seen. im hoping the western conference finals ends up with the spurs vs mavs. classic and great rivalry
Im a big Jazz fan... They are in the midst of a MAJOR slump after starting off on fire, so the second half of this season will be interesting...

Although some of Boozers choking from last year is starting to come to light: http://thetvrealist.com/gossip/Bache...r-4627156.html

Finally, the Carmelo soap opera is an interesting/ongoing issue. That should be a fun development to keep your eye on until the trade deadline comes. NJ says they are out of the hunt for him now.
Personally, I cant stand him or the Thuggets so I hope whatever happens is mutually destructive!

Im hoping the Jazz have something to say about that. Unfortunately, the damn Lakers will probably start stepping it up come playoff time.

I think that the celtics are clearly the best team in the east, they have beat the heat 3 times so saying miami is better doesn't fly, the west seems like its alot more of a tossup, i want the lakers for revenge tho
Lakers fan over here They are playing very shaky these day i dont know what to expect actually
My money is on the Heat this season. Lebron and Wade ftw.
For the eastern conference, I'd like to see Bulls vs Heat with the Bulls going straight to the finals. What's up with the Boston's struggles? :/ For the western conference, Lakers seems to be on a good role and I'd like to see a younger team like the Thunder battling them in a series.
