messi is only good in Barca but in argentina his nothing.. Ronaldo is good in portugal and real and MU so...

Messi, without question. Messi steps up in big games and dominates, Ronaldo always seems to shy away in Clasicos. Messi more direct, better eye for goal, Ronaldo more fancy but goes missing for long periods in matches. Today against Mallorca is a good example, he's done nothing against a lower mid-table side. Lopez has had his number all night.

The "doesn't play well for Argentina" tag is pretty tired and is only uttered by people who don't watch the matches.

Lionel Messi is much much better on this sport,you can make any comparation with C.Ronaldo it's realy a different player on many aspects.Sure he's good to but not that good.

CR's got height on Messi and maybe the better freekicks...that's all. If both are given teammates to match their skills Messi>CR and it's not even close.

Edit after some thinking: in a more physical league than LL though (say EPL or Bundesliga) or if both are given shitty teammates only I think CR would be closer purely based on height. In LL where physique doesn't matter and you play in one of the most expensive teams in the world = no proof of anything.

this is a difficult one. well, I'm gonna say Messi, but Cristian Ronaldo can play different position and, to me, he's more adaptable in teams that are NOT built around him. Messi is maybe greater than him, but - one day - I'd like to see him play in a different team.
