Thread: NHL - Linus Omark

I know there aren't too many hockey fans here, but I wanted to share this anyways.

Edmonton Oilers VS Tampa Bay Lightning.

So I was at the game and I didn't mind the attempt by Omark because it went in, but if it didn't... Thoughts?

Great goal. I think the spin threw the goalie off, and the atmosphere in the arena was amazing.

I'm probably one of the biggest Omark supporters around. I followed him most of the games last year in KHL, and previous to that every single game he played in Sweden.

He played great last game against Columbus, I'm hoping that he and the Oilers can keep it up

I agree that he did throw the goalie off... I really don't think it should have as Omark wasn't even close to the net and the actual shot IMO wasn't that impressive; however I'm excited to see what else Linus can do because he is an impressive player.

Im from Sweden and lets say this, hes gonna be a star level forward in NHL within 1 year. He is just magic. To the negative parts then, he can be to much in the background and the shine .

A shot doesn't have to be impressive to be effective. He stuttered the shot and saw five hole open... The spin was a little much though :P Expecting great things from him in the future.
