With all the nba players of the 2008 Beijing Olympics not returning to the roster for the USA, do you think they can still win the gold medal here in this mentioned tournament?
I actually think they have a better chance with those players.. Unlike your ordinary dream teams, they have something to prove.
Almost an hour ago, they won the gold medal. They played great in the tournament; so does Turkey.
Kevin Durant was the player making the real difference against all other teams. He was unstoppable and is just 22 y.o. What a talented guy indeed!

Overall, I was very impressed by the competition. France, Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia, & Slovenia all were impressive at times.
Indeed. I was impressed by the way the US team played this time around (especially without many of the NBA "Superstars"). Good competition all around as well.
